The Manager, Engineering directly supervises or manages all engineering activities, including designing projects, staking lines to be built, and Rights-of-Way (ROW) acquisition in compliance with RUS specifications. Consults with Network Planning regarding outside plant engineering design specifications. Implements network expansion and modernization plans provided by Network Planning. Approves new installations and coordinates Special Assemblies required to address unique customer requirements. May assist in coordinating the installation of subscriber carrier and other transmission systems. 

Education and Experience 

Bachelor of Science in an Engineering Discipline plus 5 years of engineering or engineering and construction experience either in the Telephone or Power Industries is a requirement. Post-secondary education is attractive. Professional Engineer Certification (PE) highly attractive. PMP/PPM or Black Belt in Project Management is desired. Prior supervisory experience is required.

The Technology Service Associate provides technical assistance and support to our residential and business customers. The Technology Service Associate works with customers to recommend, sell, install, setup, test, and repair customer owned networks and devices that make use of the telecommunications network. The Technology Service Associate has appreciation for technology and helping people, and can effectively communicate the purpose and operations of technology to a novice. The Technology Service Associate facilitates the complete solution of product sales, upgrades, installations and service at the customer’s location and at the office. 

The Technology Service Associate will serve as the liaison between the customer and the telecommunications network technical staff. The Technology Service Associate must work efficiently and must effectively manage their work schedule coordination with dispatch. 

Education and Education 

The successful candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills. The Materials Management Specialist performs materials management functions utilizing technical and specialized Telecommunications knowledge to ensure materials availability to satisfy construction project needs and assist with the process of converting material into assets adhering to RUS and FCC guidelines. Reviews any engineering changes that may impact materials or suppliers, to adjust stocks accordingly. Reviews and posts the charging-out of material to work orders ensuring that the type, function, and quantity of assets identified match plant records. Prepares items to be dispatched for use on company projects. Assists with the cycle counting of inventory, ensuring that materials are properly received, stocked, and accounted for. 

Education and Experience 

The successful candidate will have excellent skill and proficiency in inventory software, databases and systems. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to develop and maintain a positive and professional business relationship with internal and external vendors is vital. Familiarity with industry regulations and RUS and FCC compliance and specifications affecting engineering projects is highly desirable.

General Summary:

Manages all accounting and financial operations. Specific responsibilities include: monitoring receipts and disbursements, accounting and financial record keeping and reporting, payroll operations, short-term investments and management of cash flow. May negotiate terms of purchase and arranges for any necessary financing of major equipment and supplies. May research, recommend and administer long-term investments.

  • Manages all accounting and financial activities by assigning work, checking quality of work, answering questions, handling personnel issues and monitoring work flow to ensure timely completion of accounting and finance activities. 
  • Monitors company cash flow situation by updating cash flow projections, reviewing accounts payable, analyzing long-term debt and reviewing accounts receivable reports and weekly cash requirements.
  • Manages company-wide payroll operations and completes related filings.
